Six months after Rader’s death, I joined a tribe of grievers I found through reading Megan Devine’s book, It’s OK that you’re not OK. Megan hosts a month-long grief writing workshop through her website, Refuge in Grief. I started writing then and have continued writing at least 750 words every day since. Not every day do I write something intended for people to read, but some days I do. Here are some of my efforts.
Additionally, in April for National Poetry Month, I wrote a poem a day. You’ll find most of those here as well.
