I hope you will join me for an important event! The Hope Rising for Suicide Prevention Virtual Summit will be held from noon to midnight ET this Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020. Hope Rising is a global suicide prevention summit for people affected by suicide and those who would like to help prevent it.
This inspirational event will provide information, resources, and opportunities for collaboration that will enhance suicide prevention and wellness around the world. More than 180 amazing speakers will deliver 160+ sessions of hope including workshops, panels, breakout rooms, music, and films!
The preliminary agenda is on the website now, and is expected to be finalized today. I'm especially interested in the films being screened! Take a look at the agenda and make note of the films and sessions you're most interested in. Oh, and yesterday during our training session for the software we're using, I had a chance to hear Andrew Ecker of Drumming Sounds speak. He seems like he's going to be a bright spot, for sure!
(The session at which I'll be speaking, tentatively titled Threads of Hope, has been moved to a later hour to accommodate one of our panelists in a far-off time zone. I'll make a separate post with the details of our specific session when confirmed.)
